Descriptive Statistics Live Lab
A measurement stream is running right now, one observation a second, and partway through it something under the hood changes. You never see the process โ only the statistics you just learned to compute. Your job: say which of the four traits moved โ size, location, spread, or shape โ and then prove it by intervening and watching the numbers answer you. Plan on about 30 minutes.
Open the Descriptive Statistics Live Lab โ
It opens with your Cornell login. The lab lives on the course's own server, so signing in is how it knows who you are โ there is no code and no password to type in. Each lab opens on the day we run it in class, so if you are looking ahead and it turns you away, that is expected โ come back on the day. If it still turns you away during the session and you are on the roster, tell the instructor rather than hunting for a workaround.
