Activity [Individual]: Practice It — MOCUS Algorithm
An in-class activity from the course slides — reproduced here so you can find it again after class.
📋 What to do
- Suppose the failure of a propeller system is contingent on components A, B, C, and D as shown in the fault tree in the deck.
- Using the MOCUS algorithm, we can find the boolean equation of this fault tree.
- Complete this fault tree's boolean equation.
- Do NOT perform boolean minimalization yet — show the entire equation.
📮 Submit
Reminder: Submit on Canvas (1 pt) — graded on completion.
Note: work from this page — it is where the activity and its links (slide decks, shared materials) are maintained, and details may still be refined before class. Submission happens on Canvas, and so do the due date and your grade.
