Reading Comprehension: Think-Pair-Share

📋 What to do

  1. Turn to your neighbor(s) and pick one of these slides (below).
  2. Take 3 minutes to brainstorm your response to the questions.
  3. We will discuss the answers together - be prepared to contribute!
  4. The three reading-comprehension slides are: Why Confidence Intervals? (Why do we use confidence intervals? What do they describe for us? What does it matter if our confidence interval crosses a specific threshold? eg. Cp = 1)
  5. Bootstrapping (What the heck is bootstrapping? Why do we do it? Explain this visual from our training.)
  6. Z-scores (What the heck is a z-score? Why do we do it? Why do we say qnorm(0.975)? Why not qnorm(0.95)?)
