Example 1: Shape Parameter m (fill in the table)

📋 What to do
- A population of capacitors is known to fail according to a Weibull distribution with characteristic life c=20,000 power-on hours.
- Evaluate the probability a new capacitor will fail by 100, 1000, 20,000, and 30, 000 hr, for cases of shape parameter m=0.5, 1.0, and 2.0.
- Also calculate failure rates.
- Fill in the answer table in class: rows for times 100, 1,000, 20,000 and 30,000; columns for CDF in % and Failure Rate in %/K at m = 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0.
- Reminder: F(t) = 1 - e^-(t/c)^m, where c = 1/λ is the characteristic life and m is the shape parameter.
