Activity: Explain It (Regression)

A team activity: run one regression question on Team Boards and explain the result in plain language. Estimated time: 5–10 minutes.

📋 What to do

Start here: Open Team Boards, Topic Explain It Regression.

  1. Find your team number. (Forgot it? Check Canvas › People › Finalized Groups.) Your team is assigned a question, 1–10, in class.
  2. Open Team Boards. Pick Topic Explain It Regression and set Problem to your team's question number.
  3. The code pane already holds the script for your question (from code/11_workshop_exercises.R or .py). Run it.
  4. In the notes pane, write your answer in plain language, in the units of the data, following the template in the script: “As [X] increases by 1 [unit], [Y] increases by [BETA] [units].”
  5. Press Copy for Canvas and paste into the Canvas text submission box. One team member submits on behalf of the team.

📮 Submit

Submit on Canvas (1 pt) — graded on completion; your deadline is on the Canvas assignment.
